Ewan Passed Away
Charles William Ewan, 87, died on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at Lake Region Healthcare in Fergus Falls.
Chuck started seminary in January of 1966. He met Marilyn Lund in March; was engaged in June, and married on October 28, 1966. Seminary was interrupted by a call to serve at the Christian radio station in Minot, ND, in 1967. In the spring of 1982, Chuck received a call from Inspiration Lutheran Brethren Church in Wahpeton, ND―a call that gave him the opportunity to be back at Seminary. He graduated from Lutheran Brethren Seminary in 1985.
In 1988, the family was called to serve Bunker Hill Lutheran Church in Princeton, NJ, where he served for 13 ½ years. Since then, he served Swan Lake Lutheran Church of Fergus Falls, MN, for 12 years, followed by interim Chaplain at Broen Home and Hospice of Lutheran Brethren Homes.
