Youth and young adults are vital to the life of the Church—both now and in the future. The Church of the Lutheran Brethren is committed to equipping and empowering the next generation to grow in their faith, serve their communities, and lead within their churches. Through events, mentorship, and leadership development, we seek to cultivate a culture where young people are engaged, valued, and prepared to carry the mission of Christ forward.

IPoint Internship
The focus of this 12-month Internship is to provide teaching and practicum experience to young adults so they gain critical skills and understanding for life. The IPoint setting provides a field in which life skills and dispositions are cultivated.

Rooted Gap Year
Rooted is a 9 month long discipleship adventure designed to help young adults dig down deep into the soil of God’s love and to trust the Holy Spirit to blossom them into Christ-honoring leaders. As a student in the Rooted program you will be in the classroom studying, in the outdoors adventuring and in the inner city serving. All of these different components are opportunities to learn, serve, grow and belong, and are specifically designated to work together for the spiritual maturity of everyone involved.

Youth & Young Adult Online Cohorts
Youth Cohorts are an opportunity for young leaders to learn and grow among like-minded students in a way that is often otherwise unavailable.
Each cohort will meet 6-8 weeks for about an hour each time.
