Giving Hearts Day helps support the ministry of Lutheran Brethren Seminary. Financial contributions by generous donors like you cover nearly 75% of the cost to prepare future pastors, missionaries, and church leaders. Since 2019, an average of 45% of LBS’s annual contributions have been received in support of Giving Hearts Day. On or before February 8, you can give online or by mail to support your seminary. Thank you for your generosity.
OUR MISSION: Lutheran Brethren Seminary serves the church and the world by preparing servants of Christ for a life of ministry in God’s mission and for equipping His people to serve in His mission.

Ben Hosch, Missionary

Ben Hosch, a 2016 graduate, currently serves with his wife Sara, as a missionary in Taiwan. His close relationships with his professors have helped him get through difficult times while serving as a missionary overseas. The training that he received was a reflection of the unique theology of the CLB, grounded in God's Word and lived out in God's Mission, both overseas and here in North America.

Drew Skog, pastor at Bunker Hill Church (New Jersey), talks about how the training he received at Lutheran Brethren Seminary prepared him to care for himself so he can now effectively care for those in his congregation during difficult times. The education that students receive at LBS prepares them to serve as pastors, missionaries, and church leaders in God's Mission.
