Frasers Arrive in Japan
Paul and Alexa Fraser, and their boys, Arthur and Oswald, have arrived in Sendai, Japan. They were met by LBIM veterans, Dean and Linda Bengtson, and by JLBC (Japan Lutheran Brethren Church) president, Pastor Wakamatsu (See above photo). Today, President Wakamatsu helped Paul and Alexa register with the local government and national health insurance. Dean and Linda took the boys to a local park. Tomorrow will be checking off more of the orientation "to do" list, including opening bank accounts, post office accounts, acquiring cell phone service, wifi, grocery shopping, etc. The Frasers will initially be living in a house owned by the mission on the property of the JLBC seminary. In time, they will likely transition to an apartment in the inner city of Sendai to be closer to where they will minister in a church planting context, alongside one of the JLBC churches in Sendai. Thank you for your prayers and support of the Fraser family!
