Christensen Commissioned
Chaplain Candidate Aaron Christensen sworn in by the Church of the Lutheran Brethren’s Director of Ministry to the Armed Forces, Chaplain, Colonel Michael Heuer, USAF (Retired).
On February 13, 2023, Retired United States Air Force Chaplain, Colonel Michael Heuer officiated the commissioning service of Aaron Christensen. Aaron, after 14 years as an enlisted medic, infantryman, and religious affairs NCO, was commissioned as a chaplain candidate to serve God and Country. His first assignment will be with the 134th Brigade Support Battalion in the Minnesota Army National Guard. Chaplains provide spiritual support to nurture the living, care for the wounded, and honor the dead.
